Why I chose to go to Wharton?

Wharton stood out for me among other business schools for three
specific reasons:

1)    1. World-renowned academic standing that opens many career doors

2)    2. Flexible curriculum that allows students to tailor their
studies to meet their specific needs, including courses at other Upenn
Schools such as the Graduate School of Education, Upenn Law School
etc.

3)    3. An unusually collegial and diverse culture that provided a
multitude of opportunities for students to become well-rounded
business leaders and develop rich networks of friends all around the
world.

What Wharton can offer students, that you won’t read about on its website?

While Wharton’s website is pretty rich and thorough, you can’t really
get a feel for the place without visiting in-person.  The UPenn campus
is really quite beautiful while being set in a very urban setting, in
a historic city.  You have easy access to great restaurants, museums,
and performance arts as well as all that one expects from a big city
without all the noise and overcrowding – and often neither the expense
of other cities like New York and Boston.  The Wharton Campus itself
is always abuzz with something new – whether it is having someone like
Warren Buffet give a talk, or the skits in the Wharton Follies, or
WHALASA night at the weekly Pub.  All of this makes for a very fun and
rewarding 2 years.
