FutureWorks Consulting was invited to attend the Education Roundtable held in Delhi which included the representatives from NYCEDC as well as leading universities in New York such as Columbia University, New York University, Cooper Union and Fordam University. This was a closed door session enabling representatives from the US and India to exchange challenges, ideas and learning.
Dr Steven Strauss, Managing Director, along with Mr David S Gerstl, Sr Project Manager, New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) led a week long delegation to India for an exploratory visit looking for investment and trading partners for New York City. A series of presentations were held on the topics of Education, Financial Services, Fashion, Media & Entertainment. On the Education sector front they were briefed by CII officials about the Foreign University Bill and other pertinent issues.
